Accounts

These are all of the social media accounts that I have created from scratch or worked on in collaboration with a team. I incorporate strategy with storytelling to craft content that forwards the brand or achieves a set goal. My social media management strategy sits at the intersection of organization and spontaneity, research and trends, storytelling and audience listening. Most importantly, it is relationship building with an audience on a personal level.

In addition to creating monthly content, I also helped to coordinate out weekly and monthly Innovative Teacher posts. The Innovative Teacher awards consisted of weekly nominees and monthly winner highlighted through boosted posts. I assisted in the social aspect of promoting this campaign by drafting social copy to encourage nominations and scheduling posts in a timely fashion to ensure every nominee and winner received sufficient media attention.

For this account, I created social calendars,

including graphics and copy, managed

the posting schedule through tools like

Hootsuite and Later, and collaborated on

strategy with coworkers to ensure consistent engagement through slower months. This sample is a recommended strategy document I crafted.

Magical Vows Italian Wedding Planner

During my summer studying abroad, I made connections within the social media and communications network in Italy that led me to one my first freelancing position, social media consultant for Magical Vows Wedding Planning based in Arezzo, Italy (@magicalvows). I met with the social media team once a month and communicated regularly to strategize Instagram posts, posting times for the highest engagement, strategic hashtags to use, relevant blog topics, and graphic ideas. The team and I were able to greatly boosted engagement and awareness of the account. We earned 235 new followers and consistently increased engagement by anywhere from 40% to 933% monthly.

OU Figure Skating Club

During my first year at the University of Oklahoma, I formed the university's first figure skating club.  As a skater since the age of 11, figure skating is one of my passions and sharing the sports with others in college was an amazing experience for me.  I ran the Instagram for the club and posted weekly practice session pictures and videos.  The account gained

over 149 followers.  My posts

also garnered reshares,

likes, and comments from

Olympians.
